Bio

​

Cinthia Konopacki born in Argentina. She studied Image Design and Sound at the University of Buenos Aires and got a master degree in Media Design in the Academy of Media Arts Cologne Germany. She has worked as a Director's Assistant, Casting Director and Camera Assistant. She wrote and directed Fashion Films, Videoclips, Social Spots, Videodance and Shortfilms. 

In 2015, she directed for the brand "IMIX" the FashionFilm "Laberinto Urbano"; which competed in the official selection of the Buenos Aires International Fashion Film Festival BAIFFF in 2017.

In 2016 she won the argentine national competition "Historias Breves 14" and shot the short fiction film "Colonia Delicia" which premiered in 2017 at the Buenos Aires International Independent Film Festival BAFICI and the same year at the Viña del Mar Festival FICVIÑA in Chile. In 2018 the short film won the best direction at the "La Mujer y el Cine" FilmFestival. In 2023 she premiered her third short film "Into the Fog" in the Official Competition of the film festival BAFICI in Buenos Aires and also in the festival "La Mujer y el Cine", where the short film got the award for Best Production Design.

Currently, she is developing her first feature film "The Tropical Storms", works as an assistant director in film projects and as a photographer.
